Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?

No, you do not need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist in Ontario. You can book directly with us. However, please note that some extended health insurance plans may require a physician’s referral for you to be reimbursed.

Do you offer direct billing to my insurance?

At this time, we do not offer direct billing to insurance providers. However, immediately following your appointment, we will provide you with a detailed, official receipt containing all the necessary information—including your physiotherapist's registration number—so you can easily submit the claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Is PhysioVeda an Ayurvedic clinic?

We are a modern, evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Our name, PhysioVeda, reflects our guiding philosophy: "Veda" signifies knowledge and a holistic understanding of the body.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. If we are treating a specific area (like your knee or shoulder), it is helpful to wear clothing that allows us to easily access and assess that joint.

How are appointments structured and booked?

Your initial assessment will be a comprehensive 60-minute session so we can fully understand your history and build a personalized treatment plan. Follow-up treatments are typically 30 to 45 minutes. All bookings, intake forms, and scheduling can be managed seamlessly through our secure online booking system.

Is there parking available at the clinic?

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available for all our patients. We want your experience at PhysioVeda to be as seamless and stress-free as possible, right from the moment you arrive.
