Is Physioveda the Right Fit for You? Let’s Talk. Finding the right physiotherapist is a highly personal choice—especially when you are looking for a space that values genuine empathy over rushing through appointments. If you aren't quite sure if physiotherapy is your next best step, or if you simply want to see if our care philosophy matches your needs, we would love to connect.
We invite you to schedule a Complimentary 15-Minute Introductory Call. This is a zero-pressure, comfortable space to learn about our one-on-one care model, ask questions about our clinic, and see what your first visit would look like.
(Please note: In accordance with Ontario healthcare regulations, this call is strictly an informational meet-and-greet. No clinical diagnosis, physical assessment, or treatment will be provided during this time.)
Frequently asked questions
Will I need an X-ray or MRI before I start treatment?
In most cases, no. Our physiotherapists are highly trained in clinical physical assessments and can accurately diagnose most musculoskeletal conditions in the clinic. If your assessment indicates a need for medical imaging, we will guide you on how to discuss this with your family physician.
How soon after an injury should I start physiotherapy?
For acute injuries (like sprains or strains), we recommend coming in as soon as possible, often within the first 48 to 72 hours. Early intervention helps safely manage inflammation, protect the area from further damage, and expedite your healing timeline.
What kinds of treatments will be included in my rehab?
Your recovery plan is uniquely yours. Depending on your needs, we may utilize hands-on manual therapy, dry needling and acupuncture, cupping, or electrotherapy (TENS/NMES). Every plan will also include targeted, progressive rehabilitative exercises to rebuild your strength and prevent future injury.
Do you only treat athletes and sports injuries?
Not at all. While we expertly manage sports and athletic injuries, orthopaedic physiotherapy is for everyone. Whether your pain stems from a weekend hike in Gatineau Park, repetitive strain from your desk job, or post-surgical recovery, our interventions are tailored to help you return to your specific daily activities.
